Craig Dalton

Craig Dalton is Vice President, Armed Services for the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. He is charged with developing innovative plans, programs and activities to ensure the successful enhancement of the region’s military activities and mission performance, as well as the development of the Defense industry in the Pensacola Bay Area. In this role, he has helped the Chamber of Commerce implement several new initiatives to promote strategic partnerships, including: the Community Military Innovation Project; the Defense, Aerospace and Technology Committee; Strategic Health Intelligence Collaborative; the Pensacola Innovation Network (10 gig high-speed network) and initiated the Info Security Visioning Group to support and enhance the missions at the Center for Information Dominance. Before arriving in Pensacola, he served as public relations counsel and business development for a firm in Champaign, IL. While in Illinois, he ran a successful campaign and was elected to a four year term in public office as a village trustee, and later served as President of the Chamber of Commerce as well as receiving an official appointment to the East Central Illinois Economic Development Board to promote Agri-Business by developing regional partnerships that maximized University research and industry innovations. He is a former Naval Officer and a graduate of the University of Illinois.
