Cindy Anderson

Cindy Anderson, Executive Director of TEAM Santa Rosa Economic Development Council, is working to build a more balanced and sustainable economy for Santa Rosa County through the encouragement of a well diversified industry community.

Cindy has a combination of organizational and analytical skills associated with her engineering background from when she was the County Engineer for Escambia County and has a “can do attitude” that has placed Santa Rosa County “on the map”.

Over the past five years, Cindy has had many successes as Director of TEAM. With her engineering background as a catalyst her first and foremost project was simplifying the building permit process for Santa Rosa County. Since this time she has located numerous companies into the Santa Rosa Industrial Park and was instrumental in the expansion of the Santa Rosa Industrial Park and the development of the Whiting Aviation Park and is now working with her team and Santa Rosa County to procure a 150 acre shovel ready site at the intersection of I-10 and Hwy 87. One of her favorite and most exciting initiatives is assisting with the Human Performance Task Force whose focus is on that aspect of Life Sciences specific to human performance.

Cindy is currently active with Children’s Services Board (president for 2004/05), Workforce EscaRosa Board, United Bank Advisory Council, Florida’s Great Northwest Board of Directors and several other groups, but her favorite volunteer activity is the Futbol Club of Santa Rosa County where she is working as the Registrar to build a complex to be the central soccer complex between Jacksonville and New Orleans.
