2015 Summit

Great tech networking, amazing speakers from the Gulf Coast and around the country and our first Ignite event all helped make ITEN Wired 2015 one of our best summits on record.

We kicked off the event with a golf outing at Tiger Point Golf Club then moved to the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front for our opening reception and CIO Panel Discussion.

On Friday we featured four tracks, including CyperSecurity, Maker/Incubator, Mobile/Wearable and Professional Development, all of which looked at the latest developments and projections for tech in the field. Following the track presentations, we held our first Ignite ITEN event, during which presenters shared their personal and professional passions, using 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds for a total of just five minutes. The quick-hit format was a great way to gain exposure to and learn about new and unfamiliar topic, or to see a new angle on a familiar concept.

Our keynote speakers included Nino Vidovic, Chief Operating Technologist, Konica Minolta; Vern Boyle, Director of Technology, Northrop Grumman Information Systems; and Dr. Stephen Dunnivant, Dean of the Advanced Technology Center, Gulf Coast State College.

Thank you to all of our sponsors, speakers, volunteers, and venues for helping to create this successful event and for supporting iTen Wired and making it possible for all our attendees.
We hope that everyone made connections, learned something new, and got a renewed sense of ambition and positivity for the potential of the Gulf Coast tech community. We’ve only just begun to scratch the surface of success.
