2014 Summit

The 2014 ITEN Wired Summit was an enormous success, with over 300 attendees from across the Gulf Coast and enthusiastic responses to this year’s programming and speakers.

The event kicked off with the CIO Panel discussion and evening reception on Thursday, October 2nd, at the National Flight Academy on board NAS Pensacola. Attendees got a chance to see behind the scenes at this state-of-the-art facility dedicated to immersive STEM education aboard a simulated high-tech aircraft carrier

On Friday, October 3, the ITEN Wired Summit moved to the Hilton Pensacola Beach for a day of learning, networking and sharing knowledge on critical information technology issues. Sessions were organized into four tracks: Cyber Security, Mobility, Cloud Computing & Application Development, and Management/Training & Education. Attendees selected from multiple breakout sessions, birds-of-a-feather discussions, as well as keynote presentations from industry leaders.

Thank you to all of our sponsors, speakers, volunteers, and venues for helping to create this successful event and for supporting iTen Wired and making it possible for all our attendees.

We hope that everyone made connections, learned something new, and got a renewed sense of ambition and positivity for the potential of the Gulf Coast tech community. We’ve only just begun to scratch the surface of success.
